- Essential Information for Your Stay in the Bushel House--
A Lodge for Groups or Families (Sorry, the AppleLodge is not fully handicap accessible.)
The Bushel House is rented as either:
one bunk room (sleeping for 10)
both bunk rooms (sleeping for 20)
- The sitting room has a queen hide-a-bed and 2 twin beds and the meeting room has a twin rollaway to bring the sleeping capacity up to 25.
- A package can be put together combining the bushel house and the Bed and Breakfast rooms that can sleep up to 40.
- Common areas include bathrooms, a sitting room, and a game/movie/meeting room and kitchen. The kitchen has an oven, stove, sink, microwave, and refrigerator. There is a large barbecue pit available for group use and a large outside swim spa (max. 10 people at one time).
The game/movie/meeting room can be set up with tables and chairs to eat and to play board games, or ping pong and darts can be played, or movies (DVD or VHS) can be shown with the projector and surround sound. swim spa times need to be scheduled with the Innkeepers.
Youth groups should have a maximum of 10 kids per adult leader.
Provided:
1. Bunks twin size (no bedding)
2. Cooking utensils (ie.- coffee maker, pots, pans, skillets, spatula, spoons, knives, can opener)
note- you are expected to wash whatever you use
What to bring:
1. Bedroll (ie.- pillow, sheet, blanket, or sleeping bag)
2. Toiletries (ie.- toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, towel)
3. Eating utensils (ie.- paper plates, plastic utensils, napkins, paper towels)
4. Food --meals are not included in the rental of the Bushel house--
5. Dish soap, trash bags, & DVD or VCR Movies(optional)
Note: If two groups are renting the bunk rooms separately, they are expected to share the kitchen, barbecue, and swim spa and may need to schedule cooking times, etc.
